The short version

• Your images are never uploaded. Every tool compresses and converts locally in your browser.
• We do not sell personal information and we do not build profiles of you.
• Advertising sets third-party cookies on this site. You can opt out — instructions below.
• Preferences (language, theme) are stored on your device and are not sent to us.

What we never collect

Images you open in ImagePress are decoded, compressed and re-encoded by your own browser. They are never transmitted to an ImagePress server, because there is no server in the processing path.

• the contents of your images, at any point in processing;
• file names, file sizes, EXIF data or other metadata from your images;
• anything you type into the tools on this site.

What is stored on your device

The site uses browser localStorage to remember your language choice and a small amount of interface state. This stays in your browser and is removed when you clear site data for this domain.

Advertising

ImagePress is free and supported by advertising, served through Google AdSense.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings (myadcenter.google.com).
• You can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices or, in the EU and UK, youronlinechoices.eu.
• If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, a consent message is shown before non-essential advertising cookies are set.

Hosting logs

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare processes ordinary request data to deliver pages and defend against abuse: IP address, user agent, requested URL and a timestamp. These are used for security, rate limiting and fault diagnosis, and are not used to identify individual visitors.

Analytics

ImagePress does not run a third-party analytics product and does not track individual visitors across sites. Aggregate request counts from our host are used only to understand which tools are used.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information held about you, to object to certain processing, and to complain to your data protection authority. In practice the only personal information we are likely to hold is a message you chose to send us. Write to hello@projectbay.uk and we will respond within 30 days.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act.

Children

ImagePress is a general-audience utility site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the revised policy will be published on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
